Multiple gold award winning David James creates bespoke, stylish and intricate focal points and landscape detailing for discerning private clients and professional landscapers. Recent commissions include two large permanent installations for the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and David's work is featured in The World of Interiors and a Chelsea Flower Show Exhibitor.
As an accomplished artist and designer, David offers a consultation service where your specific requirements, location and preferences are discussed; whether they are small courtyard gardens or larger landscape detailing features. Following this, he will create a selection of hand drawn designs from which a detailed scale illustration will be produced for the chosen feature.
Mosaic Courses
David runs pebble mosaic courses from his Ilkley workshop and is in one of Yorkshire's most picturesque towns. The numbers are kept to a maximum of 4 people, ensuring everyone has a high level of individual attention, benefitting from his extensive knowledge on the history, techniques and practical applications of mosaics from Byzantine to modern technology.
