Amelia Veasey Shoes

We are a very small London based company that hand makes beautiful sustainable baby shoes, children's shoes and accessories.

We were founded by mother, shoemaker and designer Amelia Veasey after she discovered a love of making baby shoes that started with trying to make the perfect present for friend's new arrivals. This rapidly became a passion. As our products are for little ones, the feel good factor and the quality and comfort of make is crucial!

We want you to know that as well as buying something beautiful for your little one you're also buying something that is ethical and eco friendly. We take our inspiration from Japanese textiles, vintage style and traditional cordwaining craftsmanship. The result is the creation of  both a soft comfortable shoe and  timeless keepsakes for your little ones.

Our felt baby shoes are up-cycled and the wool for the felt itself is sourced through charities, meaning for every pair we sew a good cause benefits. Our leather is carefully sourced from ethical tanneries where it is the bi product of farming so that it is more sustainable. All our shoes are sewn with the seams on the outside to look after baby's feet. From 9 months onwards our shoes have suede soles to aid baby's development as they learn to walk.

All our products are made by hand by me in  the heart of London and are customisable or alternatively entirely made to order projects can be discussed.
