With our trade reputation for refined bespoke shoemaking, we have been known as “The shoemakers’ shoemaker”, and our 175 years’ heritage of artist craftsmanship is reflected in the uncompromising quality and design of our boots, shoes, cases, luggage, wallets and belts. 

In our Jermyn Street workshop we create new designs for customers across the world, so if you require a unique hand-crafted piece, we are happy to collaborate with you on a new project or re-creating an old design.

Our guiding principle is that our crafted products are made in England wherever possible. The centre of this activity is our bespoke workshop, situated right over our retail store in Jermyn Street, and staffed by an enthusiastic team of shoe and bootmakers who have many years' experience in leather craftsmanship.

From the discreetly sober to the outrageous there is no end to the possibilities with a fine belt. We hold a stock of bridle and calf leather belts that can be tailored to your size on site, or we can make a belt to match shoes or accessories, and have a buckle cast to your own design. Prices from £135.

We are usually able to complete private commissions within a period of 6 weeks.
