Stevenson Brothers Rocking Horses have been hand-making a range of rocking horse collections for 32 years (since October 1982). The current range includes both new and limited edition pieces as well as miniatures, antique and restored horses. Each rocking horse is created to order and can be built to your exact wishes, perhaps in tribute to your own family horse.

Our most popular horses include classics such as the Dapple Grey (first made popular by Queen Victoria) and the Antiqued Oak. Limited edition pieces such as the rocking zebra (image above courtesy of Nicki Macfarlane) and Tinkerbell rocking horse (as presented to Her Majesty The Queen) have become coveted collectible items as well as much loved family treasures. These are now all available to buy online in our rocking horse shop.

Today we are being commissioned to make an increasing number of bespoke rocking horses that look like a client’s real horse. We offer a unique bespoke rocking horse service where a favourite horse is reproduced in wood to last for generations.

We are often able to use real tail hair and can mount horse shoes on the base. We use mostly home grown timber for all of our horses, including the bespoke models with our Oak and Chestnut supplied by Windsor Great Park Estates.

We can create a bespoke rocking horse for you which will become a unique heirloom and cherished toy for your family for generations to come. You can use our interactive rocking horse design tool to create your own and order online.
