Roast Designs create handcrafted contemporary chandeliers from individually blown glass spheres.
Our chandeliers are unlike any other lights on the market and offer something truly unusual, dramatic and of exceptional quality. The classic combination of glass spheres and light means that our designs suit both traditional and contemporary interiors and we make each one to your exact specification.
We love working with our clients to create contemporary chandeliers that will bring them delight for many years to come. We welcome studio visits (and repeat visits!) to discuss size, colours and concepts and to view work in progress. For clients who live further afield we are very happy to send samples of our glass, images and to discuss their requirements in detail. We send images throughout the making process to ensure that everything is perfect. Our experience over the years means we can help clients and their designers choose the perfect piece for their space.
We also offer a full bespoke service for extra large pieces or where clients want to use non standard colours, shapes etc. We have completed a great number of bespoke commissions and are happy to discuss all ideas and to liaise with architects, designers, engineers as needed.

Inspired by the beauty of the blown glass spheres, Roast has created a range of stunning contemporary chandeliers. Each one is made to order so no two pieces are the same.
When lit, the chandeliers produce lovely light, create a subtle glow around the room and cast fantastic shadows on walls and ceiling and when unlit, they become beautiful glass sculptures that you will never tire of looking at.
This classic combination of glass and light suits both contemporary and traditional interiors. For those looking for something bold and beautiful, a Roast chandelier will make a truly stunning and original centrepiece.
Every piece of glass is individually blown and comes complete with its own idiosyncrasies, so each one is unique.
The largest and most unusual balls are known as 'Spirit Balls'. These combine clear and coloured glass and beautifully illustrate the art of glass making. Our largest chandelier contains almost 150 pieces of glass.
