Ceramicist, taking inspiration from folds and creases

I am a ceramicist, working with porcelain. I take inspiration from the uncontrollability of creases in cotton, thus creating collections of non-functional vessels that appear to be delicate and untouchable but in fact with the strength of the porcelain, are durable and substantial.

" People want to touch the pieces because they can't work out what they're made from."

I have a First Degree (BA) Honours in Design Crafts and I am currently finishing my Artist in Residence at De montfort University with Design Crafts and setting up my own Studio Space within Leicester.

I am happy to take commissions, so feel free to contact me if you have something special in mind.
