Rupert Bevan Ltd are the designers, makers and finishers of unique bespoke furniture and specialist interiors. We offer a complete service from initial consultation to final fitting, and an incomparable opportunity for involvement in the creative process.
Everything is made in Britain, often by hand using rare and traditional artisan techniques. Our diverse specialities include cabinet making, metalwork, stone and leather work, mirror glass, decorative paintwork and lacquerwork, gilded and gesso finishes - amongst many others, providing an extraordinary capacity to meet almost any brief.
It's not always easy finding the perfect piece of furniture. Over the years we have worked with and created many different styles, and our expertise in designing and making bespoke furniture and specialist finishing means that almost anything and everything is possible! Most of our bespoke pieces are created as one-off commissions and are completely unique.
We can help you from the very beginning to advise on the right size, shape and style of furniture for your space, or we can work from your own designs.
Our Antiqued Mirror Glass is unrivalled within the industry. Not only does it look stunning when used as an overmantel or as wall panelling, but it can also be used to great effect on furniture. With many different levels of patination and additional finish effects possible we can develop and produce a look that is unique, with each piece of glass individually antiqued by hand.
Interior Finishes
We have an exceptional capacity to produce a vast and ever increasing range of specialist finishes thanks to our 20 years experience of working with gilded, painted, lacquered and polished furniture and interiors. We have a team of highly skilled craftsman to take on large projects either on site or in our London Finishing Studio.
Our sample library houses a large collection of specialist finishes, including polished timber, zinc, pewter, gesso, lacquer and gilding amongst many more... We welcome anyone who would like to visit for inspiration, and many of our samples are available for loan if you have a specific project in mind.
