fyrbox is based on a commitment to producing well crafted items of bespoke lighting and furniture. At the root of all our ideas is a shared passion for a quality of light; the subtle changes of tone and shade that can be created through various workings of glass. 

Our aim is to develop objects that are specific and carefully considered to compliment an interior space rather than offering an ‘off the shelf’ solution. 

commissioning process​

Following an initial client briefing, we try whenever possible to visit first hand the spaces we are designing for to gain an insight into the required location. If that is not possible we request any additional information that may be available, i.e. architectural plans, sections, photographs etc.

In response to this briefing and site visit we develop sketches, scale models, and glass samples as appropriate. This initial design development is charged at an agreed fee that will be set against the total commission fee once the client approves the design for manufacture.

On approval, the client is provided with a full price quotation, which requires a 50% deposit. CAD drawings are produced in preparation for manufacture. Designs are put into production (allow 6 - 8 weeks). fyrbox also oversee delivery and site installation, when possible.
