Jane Bowler is an RCA Graduate based in London. She was recently nominated for the prestigious ‘Material Innovation Award' supported by the Clothworkers Foundation and was also an “Emerging Designer” finalist of the renowned annual “WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2013.
She is known for her constant exploration and discovery of new and exciting materials, alongside sculptural silhouettes. Bowler’s body of work is driven by her passion for craftsmanship and innovation within textiles and design.
Her collections highlight her passion to transform everyday materials using unique processes, hand-dyed plastics and heat-forming techniques. Her work challenges the idea of everyday wear, allowing it to stand out on the street without subscribing to uniform.
Bowler has established herself as a celebrated London Fashion Designer. Her work has been featured in some of the world’s most respected publications, as well as gaining a significant celebrity following. Her designs are a constant source of inspiration for Trend Forecasters worldwide.
The Jane Bowler brand encompasses much more than just a fashion label, by constantly endeavouring to inspire people through lectures, teaching and creative workshops. She works with educational institutions and the eponymous V&A Museum, whilst also expanding on an international level, through the British Council’s recognition of her talent.
